Description: This data set represents the subsurface mineral rights for state trust parcels. A state trust subsurface parcel in Arizona is a piece of state trust land where the State holds and manages the subsurface rights.The data layer is created to serve as base information for use in GIS systems for a variety of planning and analysis purposes. It is maintained by the Arizona State Land Department (ASLD) and is updated nightly. This data set only represents the geographic location and not whether or not the subsurface parcel is leased. Access is granted to public agencies, educational institutions, non-profit organizations and private individuals for non-commercial purpose. For commercial use of the data see Arizona Revised Statutes 39-121.03.
