Description: This dataset provides Public Land Survey System (PLSS) section boundaries across the State of Arizona. It serves as a foundational reference layer for land tenure, surveying, and resource management applications.Data Origin & Modifications:Source Data: Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Cadastral National Spatial Data Infrastructure (CADNSDI) via the 2011 Geographic Information Database (GDBC) release.Enhancements: Modified by adding specific attribute fields tailored to meet the operational and reporting needs of the Arizona State Land Department (ASLD).Use Constraints & Aligned Workflows: Optimized for state agency cross-referencing and regional mapping projects requiring PLSS data structured for ASLD compatibility. For official legal boundary determinations, always refer to original BLM survey plats.Access is granted to public agencies, educational institutions, non-profit organizations and private individuals for non-commercial purpose. For commercial use of the data see Arizona Revised Statutes 39-121.03.
