Description: This data set represents the subsurface oil and gas rights for state trust parcels. A state trust subsurface parcel in Arizona is a piece of state trust land where the State holds and manages the subsurface rights.The data layer is created to serve as base information for use in GIS systems for a variety of planning and analysis purposes. It is maintained by the Arizona State Land Department (ASLD) and is updated nightly. This dataset does not include whether or not the parcel is leased or unleased, only the geographic parcel.Access is granted to public agencies, educational institutions, non-profit organizations and private individuals for non-commercial purpose. For commercial use of the data see Arizona Revised Statutes 39-121.03.
